Bernier has worn his mask during a pair of games during the NHL lockout and will wear it during the All-Awards Game on Jan. 29.

The mask will come in three styles: a simple helmet-style mask with a face mask that is worn around the mouth, a “cushion” style mask with the face mask on the chin and a “halo” style helmet with the mask on top of the chin.

The “hale” style is the one the Leafs will wear when the NHL Awards are broadcast Jan. 28.

The NHL’s All-Time leading goalies have all worn masks at some point.

NHL.com has video of goalie Corey Crawford and forward Corey Perry wearing masks in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
