The pole buildings in Chicago in the Northwest corner of the city are getting a new look.

Chicago Public Works says that in the first phase of the new street lighting, about two dozen poles are being installed, and that they will be replaced with more than 100 more poles.

It’s a massive project, covering roughly 50 acres.

Public Works also says that the work is being funded with $100,000 in federal stimulus funds.
